No excusal

I called my Rheumatologist to get excused from Jury duty, and they don't do those. An arthritis doctor doesn't excuse from Jury duty? Of an possibly specialty, it would make the most sense that a doctor specializing in painful conditions would give a written note. Arg. this is annoying. Now I have to go. I am a little interested in the processs, but I know that if I was by chance selected, that I would be in incredible pain sitting on those painful benches for an entire day or week or who knows how long.

I guess we shall see what happens. I imagine I would get excused if I was honest, right?
